Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel maintenance or related trade.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and service calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, and other routine items.
• Maintain tools and work areas to be clean and organized.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to management.
• Assist with energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
