Job summary

Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group seeks a guest-focused Food Service Associate for the Fairfield Inn & Springhill Suites Moab. You will serve guests, handle banquets, and be the face of hotel food service, delivering friendly, efficient service in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, operating POS, ensuring food appearance and temperature, answering questions about the menu, and assisting with setup and other duties as needed. Weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts, usually between 11am and 11pm, including weekends and holidays.
• Safe food handling and Smart Serve certificates required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Ability to effectively relate with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• General knowledge of food and food preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the service manual.
• Work Banquets and Hotel Food Service
• Be the face and voice of the Food Service for the hotel
• Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
• Answer any guest questions about the menu.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
• Check food before serving it to guests to ensure that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
