Job summary

Paragon Hotel Company in Augusta, GA is seeking an Executive Housekeeper (Hourly) to supervise the housekeeping team and manage labor costs while maintaining the highest cleanliness standards across all areas of the hotel.

The role requires 3+ years in a branded hotel, a High School diploma, professionalism, punctuality, and a valid state driver’s license. You will lead shifts, inspect spaces, manage inventories and invoices, and coordinate with maintenance to keep the property in top condition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent of same.
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must have a valid driver's license from the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping Team through daily shift meetings and monthly department meetings.
• Inspect all areas of the hotel: rooms, public space, back of the house, grounds) to ensure sanitation, brand, all health and safety standards are met.
• Maintain the necessary items to effectively operate department, including guest loaned items; monthly inventories, proper ordering, receiving and maintenance of supplies; log and process invoices for payment.
• Ensure all equipment are in working order: vacuums, laundry equipment, carts, etc.
• Key control is required for guests and associates; keys must be accounted for and secured.
• Present training resources to all staff for ongoing education.
• Schedule and work within the designated Labor Model.
• Supervises 'Lost and Found' Department.
• Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to initiate timely maintenance requests.
• Perform Property Specific Tasks as requested by management.
• All other duties as assigned within physical capabilities.
