Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks an experienced Engineering professional for the Wyndham San Diego Bayside property. You will maintain all building systems, ensure safety, and drive energy efficiency while adhering to SOPs and brand standards.

Responsibilities include supervising engineering staff, budgeting, preventive maintenance, life-safety readiness, and coordinating with other departments to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or military training and/or certification in building trades.
• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable location, hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, maintenance budgeting, safety and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building related systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Life Safety, IT, etc.).
• Supervise engineering staff, train and assign tasks, monitor budget and inventory.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures and building codes; ensure energy efficiency.
