Job summary

The Historic Cavalier Hotel, managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineering Supervisor to maintain building systems and the building envelope for guest safety and energy efficiency. Lead the engineering team, manage maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in hotel engineering, hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• 3+ years of hands-on hotel or similar facility experience.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems and the building envelope for guest safety.
• Supervise, train, and assign tasks to engineering staff to ensure productivity.
• Monitor safety, compliance, and energy efficiency; manage PM programs and inspections.
• Coordinate with departments and manage budget and stock of supplies.
