Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering/maintenance leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Organized, dependable, and safety-focused.
• Able to lead, train and motivate a maintenance team.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Comfortable hands-on work while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift, move, climb, and use tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team.
• Oversee daily repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and life-safety systems.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Manage department budgeting, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory standards.
• Support maintenance team with troubleshooting and project work.
• Respond quickly to urgent issues and guest-impact situations.
• Coordinate effectively with hotel leadership and all departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized engineering shop and work areas.
