Job summary

Element Orlando Universal Blvd. is seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to supervise maintenance of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.

You will lead engineering operations, ensure compliance with codes and brand standards, and manage ongoing capital projects and preventive maintenance programs. The role requires hands-on experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus the ability to train and supervise staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry experience required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience at a comparable hotel or large facility preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for property systems and equipment.
• Monitor life safety systems and building operations in compliance with codes.
• Lead capital projects and manage department budget and inventory.
• Supervise and train engineering staff, ensuring safety and efficiency.
