Job summary

RiseMe in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to supervise hotel engineering staff and oversee critical building systems.

You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen and related equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety procedures are followed to protect guests and staff. You will document repairs, train junior engineers, respond to service calls, and ensure compliance with MSDS procedures and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience overseeing engineering staff.
• Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Suite) and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Engineering staff.
• Maintain knowledge of all engineering roles; assist as needed.
• Manage and monitor the Synergy system and service calls.
• Maintain and account for tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Operate HVAC and mechanical systems safely per procedures.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic issues quickly.
• Perform preventive maintenance for guest rooms and major equipment.
• Document all work in the Synergy log.
• Train Engineer II and Engineer III.
