Job summary

PM Hotel Group in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to look after the hotel as if it were your own. You will manage repairs, preventive programs, and capital projects to keep the property fresh and functional.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with department heads, ensure safety, and maintain equipment and chemicals in compliance with regulations. On-call nights, weekends, and holidays may be required, with competitive pay and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory hotel experience.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced hotel environment and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Lead, manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with hotel department heads to address maintenance needs and ensure timely response.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and lead all maintenance staff.
• Ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
