Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Miami seeks an Engineer III to join the Engineering team. This entry-level role maintains guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, performing preventive tasks and responding to service requests.

You will work with experienced engineers to grow practical skills and uphold Four Seasons standards, delivering safe, efficient operations. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to guest satisfaction in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or interest in general building maintenance, mechanical systems, or hands-on repair work.
• Previous hospitality or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks reliably, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• A service-oriented mindset with the professionalism and discretion required when working in guest rooms and public areas.
• Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, understand instructions, and communicate effectively.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from supervisors and experienced Engineering team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A desire to develop technical skills and grow within the Engineering profession.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to support the safe and efficient operation of the property.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, furniture, fixture, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and internal maintenance requests while minimizing disruption to the guest experience.
• Assist with mechanical room inspections, equipment readings, room inspections, work orders, and other daily Engineering activities.
• Support senior engineers during equipment shutdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and larger maintenance projects.
• Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities and tasks performed during each shift.
• Follow established safety procedures, including the proper use of tools, equipment, PPE, and chemicals, and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Support emergency and life-safety procedures while maintaining clean, organized, and safe Engineering work and storage areas.
