Job summary

Remington Hotels in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs and installations across hotel facilities.

You will follow departmental procedures, ensure compliance with local and federal codes, and coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineers to complete work efficiently. This role emphasizes reliability, quality workmanship, and accurate work order recording.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service calls within half an hour from time the call is received.
• Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take immediate corrective action for guest-related or top priority issues and record on the departmental work order form.
• Follow specific departmental procedures in efficiently performing repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work.
• Comply with the latest local, county, state and federal governmental codes, laws and requirements.
• Coordinate with other department personnel such as electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer in completing service, replacement, alteration and new installation work.
