Job summary

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara Silicon Valley is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to join the team. This role involves keeping dining and kitchen areas spotless, stocking supplies, and supporting banquets and events.

The ideal candidate has a good attitude, works well in a fast-paced hotel environment, and may have prior hotel dishwashing experience. Shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of dishwashing or kitchen experience (or willing to train).
• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours.
• Able to work independently and be productive.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Keep serviceware spotless: clean chinaware, silverware, utensils; scrub pots and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels; ensure supplies and equipment are well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: cleaning tasks including mopping and trash removal.
• Support events delivery: prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets/functions.
• Train and mentor team members: share expertise with new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with regulatory standards: health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness compliance.
