Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by keeping wares clean, organized, and sanitary to ensure a smooth guest experience. This role reports to the F&B Managers and requires attention to detail and a proactive safety mindset.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, cleaning areas, receiving deliveries, assisting servers, and upholding health standards. Flexibility to work varied shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior dishwashing experience is an advantage, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and potscrubbing areas.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, dispose of trash, and keep dumpster area clean.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and prevent loss of dishware and utensils.
• Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables and room service tray retrieval.
• Adhere to Health Department requirements and safety standards; report issues.
• Occasionally work outdoors for trash disposal; handle varying temperatures in kitchens.
• Support culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience; maintain courteous guest interactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery; follow emergency procedures.
