Job summary

The Hotel Saint Louis in downtown Saint Louis, MO is seeking AM/PM and Bartender Servers to join our hospitality team. This part-time position focuses on guest services, taking orders, and ensuring a friendly, attentive dining experience.

You will greet guests, memorize daily specials, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness in the restaurant while delivering high standards of service to Autograph Collection guests.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers

• Receive proper payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest check and method of payment
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Respond to customer inquiries and comments with timely and knowledgeable information
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work
• Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area
• Control allocated guest checks and document order information
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communications
