Courtyard by Marriott Lakewood Ranch is seeking a Cook to join the team! Our Courtyard offers a Bistro Restaurant & Bar, providing healthy breakfast options, Starbucks products, evening dining with a full bar, and spaces for gatherings.

The Hotel is owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company.

Responsibilities include:
  • Producing hot and cold food items for the restaurant and catering functions.
  • Ensuring all items meet company, brand, and health standards.
  • Preparing foods of consistent quality, including special requests, and adjusting equipment controls.
  • Forecasting food needs based on occupancy and managing food waste per SOP.
  • Properly storing, dating, and rotating food items.
  • Assisting in kitchen duties such as cleaning and dishwashing.

Typical shifts: AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate embodies Buffalo Lodging’s values: Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Inclusiveness. Requirements include:

  • At least one year of hotel food preparation or cooking experience (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation (a plus).
  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
