Job summary

Omni Louisville Hotel is seeking an Engineer Class 2 to maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained hotel environment. The operating engineer will monitor systems, perform routine maintenance, and respond to guestroom and public-space needs with responsiveness.

You will work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm systems operate reliably while upholding Omni safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Class 2 operating engineer license is required.
• Universal EPA certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment and maintain domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Repair guest rooms and public spaces including kitchen, HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Assist with cleaning and general maintenance in engineering spaces and daily operations.
• Receive house calls via radio and respond promptly.
• Maintain building temperatures and climate control.
• Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and safety regulations.
• Follow Omni hotel rules and OSHA regulations.
