Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown is hiring a Hotel Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance team and drive reliability across the property. You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and manage projects to enhance guest safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel, building, or maintenance environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish.
• Supervisory experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for equipment, guest rooms, and property infrastructure.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance projects from proposal to completion.
• Oversee outside contractors for complex repairs ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain exterior areas and, if applicable, pool/spa operations in compliance with policies.
