Tru by Hilton Glendale in Arizona is seeking a Hotel Chief Engineer to lead property maintenance, oversee repairs, and ensure safety and brand standards across the venue.

The role requires 3+ years of hotel/building maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, project management ability, supervisory experience, and experience with preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems; pool operation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of hotel/building maintenance experience.
• High problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to implement and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and general repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment and building components.
• Experience operating and maintaining a commercial pool, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs and repairs for equipment, guest rooms, and property infrastructure.
• Conduct minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building-related systems.
• Serve as project manager for in-house projects: gathering proposals, providing recommendations, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality control, managing budgets.
• Secure and supervise outside contractors for complex equipment and building repair needs, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.
• Preserve the property's exterior appearance, including landscaping, parking areas, and pool/spa upkeep if applicable.
