Qualifications

• Extensive hotel or commercial building engineering experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Ability to lead multiple properties, plan preventive maintenance, and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of maintenance and engineering operations across multiple hotel properties.
• Maintain hotel mechanical systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, pool equipment, kitchen equipment, and other building systems.
• Ensure properties comply with fire/life-safety, codes, and brand standards; identify deficiencies and develop repair plans.
• Recruit, train, and mentor engineering teams; establish accountability for work orders and maintenance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and manage vendor relationships and outside contractors.
• Review bids for major repairs and capital projects; assist with budgets and capital improvements.
• Support engineering standards across the Phoenix portfolio to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
