Job summary

Lexima is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead maintenance operations at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown San Antonio. The role includes managing preventive maintenance programs and ensuring operational performance while maintaining hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in hotel facilities maintenance and a strong understanding of building systems such as HVAC and plumbing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering or facilities maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Establish schedules and prioritize repairs to minimize disruption.
• Maintain and monitor the hotel’s emergency and security systems.
• Perform daily inspections of property and rooms.
• Keep records relating to all plant and equipment.
