Qualifications

• Ten years in a senior engineering role
• Minimum five years of managerial experience
• Bachelor's degree or technical school degree preferred
• OSHA knowledge related to hotel operations
• LEED-GA certification or eligibility within first year of employment

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing repair and maintenance of the hotel and F&B facilities, including building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and related equipment.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate engineering staff; ensure compliance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct regular department meetings and performance evaluations; develop Engineering team capabilities.
• Manage departmental budget under direction of General Manager; forecast, budget, capital planning and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal codes and lead Fire Safety & Emergency Evacuation teams.
