Job summary

San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center in Galveston, TX is seeking a Bus Person to help keep dining rooms, lobbies, service areas, and restrooms clean and presentable. You will assist servers by resetting tables for the next guests and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

The position emphasizes strong guest interaction, reliability, and the ability to lift and move items as needed. Training is available for the right candidate, with a supportive, diverse work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred but training provided.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Assist servers to provide the highest quality dining experience possible consistent with restaurant and regulatory guidelines
• Remove used tableware and reset tables; provide clean and polished utensils, organize condiments, spot sweep carpets, wipe off chairs
• Replenish station and restroom supplies as needed
