Job summary

The role covers preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and daily documentation while upholding Marriott brand standards and guest satisfaction. Position requires on-site work and flexibility for after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
• Knowledge of OSHA and life safety regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call rotations as required.

Responsibilities

• Life Safety & Regulatory Compliance: inspect and test fire alarm systems and ensure inspections.
• MEP Systems: maintain HVAC, MAUs/AHUs, boilers, and water systems; monitor air quality.
• Guest Room PM: execute PM program to maintain guest rooms in excellent condition.
• General Maintenance: perform drywall, painting, carpentry, and other repairs to keep hotel operations.
• Doors, Locks & Hardware: inspect/repair doors, latches, and hardware; ensure ADA compliance.
• Cleanliness & Organization: maintain clean, organized mechanical rooms and workspaces.
• Work Orders: respond to requests, document, and close orders promptly.
• Daily Testing & Documentation: keep logs for boilers, fire systems, and PMs.
• Asset Protection: report deficiencies, conserve utilities, protect assets.
• Attendance & Teamwork: punctuality, professionalism, collaborate across departments.
