Job summary

The Washington House Hotel is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our housekeeping and guest services team. You will clean rooms, prepare breakfasts, assist at the front desk, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

This part-time role features flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and staff discounts. Weekend availability may be required; a background check and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy linen bags, dishes and trash.
• Comfortable using stairs.
• Submit to a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation to & from work.
• Part-time: approximately 10–20 hours per week.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver breakfast orders to hotel guests.
• Answer front desk phone for in-house guest request and incoming calls; take reservations.
• Clean and sanitize hotel rooms after guest departure.
• Provide daily housekeeping service to stay-over guests according to their requests.
• Clean and sanitize common areas.
• Remove dirty dishes, trash and soiled linens from rooms and linen closets.
• Perform deep cleaning jobs as needed.
