Job summary

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Olympia is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and serve the daily breakfast bar, greet guests, and ensure their comfort throughout their stay.

You will set up the breakfast area, maintain inventory, follow safety guidelines, and assist with restocking and cleaning to meet brand standards and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant/hotel breakfast experience preferred.
• Greet guests and ensure comfort and satisfaction.
• Follow brand standards for breakfast service.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar per brand standards.
• Follow safe food handling and service practices.
• Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies.
• Prepare eggs, sausage, bacon and waffle batter for breakfast.
• Stock coffee, juice, and milk dispensers.
• Set up serving dishes, utensils, and cups.
• Arrange cold foods like pastries and cereals.
• Clear and clean tables as guests depart.
• Prepare and set up hot food items.
• Mop spills and maintain cleanliness of breakfast area.
• Restock items during breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Return reusable supplies to storage and keep kitchen counters clean.
• Respond to guests' requests and questions.

Job Description:

Responsible for preparing and serving daily breakfast bar, greeting each guest, and ensuring the guests are comfortable and overall satisfied.

• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times
• Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffle batter for breakfast
• Stocking coffee, juice, and milk dispensers
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand
• Wiping up spills
• Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Returning reusable food supplies to storage
• Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors
• Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints
