Job summary

NCG Hospitality, managing Courtyard Chandler Fashion Center, is seeking a Hotel Bistro Line Cook for the Courtyard Chandler Fashion Center location. The position requires 1 year of line cook experience and a schedule from 4pm to 10pm, Friday through Monday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of line cook experience.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation.
• Knowledge of menu and recipes, including prep procedures and plating.
• Maintain FIFO inventory controls and dates on incoming products.
• Keep lines and storage stocked with items and utensils for service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organize storage areas.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation
• Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation / special handling instructions
• Maintains first in / first out inventory controls and dates all incoming products
• Keeps the lines and storage stocked with all items and utensils needed for service
• Maintains a clean kitchen by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis, as well as the kitchen equipment used daily
• Maintains all food storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized and clean
