Job summary

Courtyard Bettendorf is seeking a part-time bartender to join our hotel Bistro team. You will take drink orders, prepare cocktails, serve beverages and assist with food service as needed, including weekends.

The role offers $8.50 hourly wage plus tips and opportunities to cross-train as a breakfast barista for more hours. Qualifications include 1+ years bartending experience, HS diploma or GED preferred, and a flexible weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in bartending.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Prior experience in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink orders and uses suggestive selling and upselling opportunities.
• Informs guests of specials and makes suggestions regarding beverage and food options.
• Prepares cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.
• Processes all guest orders, checks and payments promptly.
• Stocking inventory.
• Close of shift reports and deposit.
• Performs other duties as may be required within own department.
