Job summary

Grand Pacific Hotel Services, L.P. is seeking a part-time bartender for Westin/Solea Carlsbad Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA. You will prepare and serve beverages for guests and servers with speed, accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires at least one year of high-volume bar experience, strong customer service, and compliance with alcohol-service laws. Duties include cash handling, inventory, and assisting other team members.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• One year high volume bar experience required. Customer service experience required.
• Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Must have current food handler’s card.
• Must be TIPS certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks for customers and servers, ensure that proper materials and supplies are on hand, and talk to guests. Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages. Act as the cashier for the servers when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas.
• Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits.
