Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and multitask.
• Basic arithmetic to handle transactions.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and health regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Dispense alcoholic beverages and control service to prevent intoxication in line with laws and policies.
• Prepare drinks and charge accurately for orders.
• Comply with liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
• Perform side duties: cleaning, garnish prep, stocking.
• Wash and sanitize glasses and utensils.
• Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters before closing time.
• Other duties as assigned.
• In lead capacity, supervise employees in the absence of the supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

1. Always exercise good public and customer relations skills. Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

2. Dispense alcoholic beverages and controls service to ensure customers do not become intoxicated in accordance with liquor and hotel and company policies and regulations.

3. Prepare all drink orders as required and to charge for such orders as they are prepared and in the appropriate manner.

4. Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.

5. Perform all side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.

6. Wash and sanitize all glasses and utensils.

7. Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to required closing time.

8. Other duties as assigned.

9. If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensures proper performance of assigned employees.
