Job summary

The Joule Dallas, a Highgate Hotels property, is seeking a Cook to prepare all food items for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, following standardized recipes and hotel standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, proper storage, avoiding waste, and assisting in various kitchen stations as needed; ensuring safety and sanitation per Health Department regulations.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Knowledge of hotel kitchen standards and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to opening to ensure guests are served promptly.
• Prepare and display buffet food items according to hotel standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment and proper handling of food items.
• Support any position in the Kitchen as needed and follow health and safety regulations.
