Job summary

Highgate Hotels in the United States is seeking a Cook to prepare all food items in Restaurants, Room Service and Banquets to hotel standards, ensuring quality and timely service. You will work under the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor, maintaining cleanliness and safety while supporting other kitchen stations as needed.

The role requires culinary experience, flexibility with long hours, the ability to stand for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field preferred.
• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Medium work – can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of hotel standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items and meals to hotel standards.
• Assist in Banquets and Employee Cafeteria as directed by the Chef.
• Follow Health Department regulations and company procedures for food safety.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and storage areas.
