Job summary

Holiday Inn Manahawkin / The Mainland is seeking an Area Controller to perform professional accounting duties overseeing expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel to safeguard company assets.

The role requires leadership in accounts payable/receivable, monthly closings, tax filings, and financial reporting. Strong English communication and analytical skills are essential for accurate forecasting and budgeting.

Qualifications

• College plus 4+ years hotel accounting or auditing experience including management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM with budgets, strategic plans, and goals; month-end closing.
• Manage daily accounting activities and supervise staff.
• Prepare general ledger entries, tax filings, and reconcile accounts payable/receivable.
