Job summary

Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront seeks an Accounting Clerk to manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and deposits, and help keep the hotel's finances in good order. You will support the Property Accountant with payroll and some HR tasks, handling sensitive information with discretion.

A High School diploma is required; hospitality experience is preferred. The role offers full-time hours with a competitive benefits package and daily pay options after an initial waiting period.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in accounting is helpful.
• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure invoices and deposits are on schedule.
• Support the Property Accountant with payroll and HR-related tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Maintain organized records for direct billing with accuracy.
