Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Hot Stamp Press Assistant in New Jersey. You will support the Hot Stamp Press Operator with setup, material staging, and quality checks to maintain production efficiency and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, good reading skills, and the ability to pass color vision tests. duties include material selection, changeovers, documentation, and keeping the workspace organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Must pass a basic reading test and color vision/hue tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and preparation of hot stamp equipment.
• Review job tickets and select materials for each run.
• Support material changeovers and ensure proper staging of materials.
• Load/unload stock and monitor production runs.
• Assist with quality checks on stamped sheets and maintain clean work areas.
• Document production and quality data as required.
