Job summary

Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC. is seeking a skilled Hot Stamp / Machinist to join our Charlotte, NC team.

The role focuses on hot stamping injection-molded waste bins and packaging solutions, manufacturing mounting plates, and supporting mold version changes with precision. Candidates should have at least one year of machine shop experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a keen eye for safety and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience operating machine shop equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Operate shop equipment such as milling machines, band saws, and drill presses.
Safely utilize a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
Train and operate a forklift as needed and manage an overhead crane in accordance with OSHA standards.
Complete assigned work orders promptly, accurately, and with pride.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Identify and report the need for spare or replacement parts to ensure smooth operations.
Be available for overtime work when required and maintain consistent punctuality.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and expand technical expertise.
