Job summary

General Parts is seeking a Commercial Hot Side Technician in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gas, electric, steam, and related commercial kitchen equipment.

This role offers up to a $7,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates and an hourly rate from $35.00 to $50.00, plus a company vehicle, medical benefits, 401K with company match, and ongoing CFESA certification training.

Qualifications

• Completion of a background check and drug screen is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Two years of relevant experience, education, or military experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
• Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
• CFESA Certification is a plus but not required.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent walking, standing, driving, bending, and manual tool use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment using gas, electric and steam.
• Keeps the customer and branch updated on repair status and part requests.
• Completes appropriate technical and manufacturing training and certification.
• Adheres to safety policies at all times.
• Manages service vehicle inventory and tools to Heritage standards.
• Work 40-hour weekly schedule and on-call nights and weekends as required.
