Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor, audit, and improve billet casting quality and performance.
• Ensure standard work practices are followed and improve them as needed.
• Monitor furnace handling techniques and sow line caster performance.
• Coach casting team on safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with hot side supervisor, mold shop, process team and cold side tech.
• Troubleshoot low recovery, casting aborts, off-analysis material, and safety incidents.
• Optimize processes to increase uptime, improve recovery, and reduce waste.
• Communicate shift quality data via email to casthouse lead team.
