Job summary

Novolex in Macon, GA is hiring a Hot Press Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot the hot press and ovens, while following safety, quality and production procedures. You’ll rotate 12-hour shifts and support operation across day and night cycles.

Requirements include mechanical experience in manufacturing and the ability to work in a hot/cold environment, standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. This role offers weekly pay and immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety, quality, and production procedures for the Hotpress Mechanic and related JSAs.
• Performs hotpress maintenance and responds to equipment issues promptly.
• Verifies carton quality and monitors ovens for proper operation.
• Keeps maintenance area organized and logs daily occurrences.
• Maintains shift transitions and communicates with operators and supervision.
