Job summary

Novolex in Macon, GA is hiring an Operator Associate to operate the hot press, floatline, printer and wrapper to produce molded fiber egg cartons to customer specifications. Compensation starts at $22.03-$28.15 per hour, paid weekly, with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Key duties include following safety, quality and production procedures; maintaining equipment and housekeeping; addressing jams and alarms; and coordinating line start-up and downtime.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow documented safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot press to maintain continuous production and address jams.
• Verify carton quality and ensure proper tagging.
• Assist in line start-up and downtime cleanup.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
