Position Summary

Title: Hot Prep Cook

Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Shift: Seeking availability for 8-10 hour shifts between 6am - 10pm, including rotating weekends

Position Responsibilities

• Prepares hot food items for patient and non-patient services following production plans and recipes

Essential Functions

• Assists in tray assembly and preparing special diets
• Knows basic food preparation techniques, including receiving, storing, and holding food
• Follows sanitation and infection control practices in accordance with HAACP guidelines
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors
• Willing to assist in other kitchen areas as needed
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance in line with policies and standards
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures
