Job summary

You will collaborate with teams across Pickling, Tandem Mill, Galvanizing Line, Batch Annealing, and Temper Mill to maximize yield, safety, and on-time delivery while implementing preventive and predictive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
• Three years of steel rolling process experience.
• Proficiency in data acquisition software and SQL coding.
• Ability to analyze process KPI and optimize rolling operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement equipment modifications in the Hot Mill and teamwork with downstream processes (internal customer) including the Pickling line, Tandem Mill, Galvanizing Line, Batch Annealing, and/or Temper mill to improve operations and/or develop new products.
• Work with teammates to create solutions in the areas of safety, profitability, and teammate development.
• Develop the specific training and communications required to expand the knowledge of the team, partners, and customers.
• Develop process improvement plans, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance and process troubleshooting utilizing IBA Analyzer PDA for process events.
