Job summary

Lofton Staffing is hiring an experienced Extrusion Operator for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in the Rosenberg area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and overtime availability.

You will set up and operate 4-post hydraulic presses and pull-through presses, load materials, run batches, inspect parts with calipers, perform routine maintenance, and follow written procedures and safety standards throughout

Qualifications

Experience in high-heat industrial manufacturing environments.
Hydraulic press experience preferred.
Hot metal extrusion or hot metal forming experience preferred, will accept plastic extrusion.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Comfortable working around high temperatures.
Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 4-post style hydraulic presses and pull-through presses.
Load and unload material; assist with tooling assembly and disassembly.
Run production batches of 5–25 pieces with attention to quality and consistency.
Inspect finished parts using calipers and tape measures.
Perform routine machine maintenance including hydraulic fluid checks and greasing fittings.
Follow written procedures and safety standards throughout production.
