Job summary

Ballerina Restaurant Inc is seeking a passionate Hot Line Cook to join our Bal Harbour, FL kitchen team. You will work in a fast-paced environment, executing hot line duties and ensuring exceptional dishes for our guests.

Responsibilities include plating to standard, maintaining a clean station, and collaborating with the kitchen to manage high-volume service while upholding safety and quality. Evening, weekend, and holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant environment.
• Proficiency in high-heat cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, and frying.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred.

• Assist with prep work, mise en place, and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning
• Communicate effectively with expeditors, sous chefs, and fellow line cooks
