Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a hands‑on design liaison engineer to partner with Global Supply Chain and supplier teams in the United States. You will contribute to hardware quality and fulfillment of turbine modules while helping to reduce cost and improve performance.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, producibility, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to apply NX and GD&T knowledge in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Supply Chain to drive improvements and resolve deviant hardware quickly while maintaining quality.
• Support hardware qualifications for new processes and equipment.
• Apply HGP design knowledge to reduce cost and add value.
• Participate in Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts.
• Support design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering.
• Proactive quality engagement to reduce defects and improve processes.
• Support qualification guidelines, specifications and top manufacturing issues.
• Develop and qualify special processes (casting, coating, holedrilling).
• Foster teamwork, urgency, and a strong quality mindset.
