Food Service Worker I works within the borders of Food & Nutrition Services. Duties may include responsibilities related to cooking, cleaning, food preparation, food delivery, and interacting with patients and their families. Defined assignments vary depending on the area of assignment.
Reports to Supervisor, Food & Nutrition Services
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to :
Internal : Requires close interaction with various departments within UMC.
External : Requires interaction with vendors, outside suppliers, and patients to facilitate the growth of digital health.
Occasionally exerts force to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work involves walking and/or standing for prolonged periods.
This position is subject to indoor environmental changes, including temperature fluctuations and minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals.
