Job summary

AIS Commercial Parts & Service is a Tech24 Company located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Hot & Cold Technician will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.

As part of the Tech24 network, you will work on hot-side cooking equipment and cold-side refrigeration, perform preventative maintenance, document work performed, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
