Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Hostler in Missouri to move tractor trailers on company property and act as the face of the operation with customers and vendors. You will load/unload where required, maintain safe driving practices, and support the distribution process on site.

Responsibilities include safe trailer movement, DOT-compliant operations, and documentation. A valid CDL and driving experience are required to qualify.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months driving experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Valid commercial driver's license
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler equipment to move varying weights (10–90 lbs) throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Moves tractor trailers to/from loading docks and parks them in designated areas safely and on time per DOT regulations.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers at docks.
• Transports tractors/trailers to offsite maintenance facilities (local city driving).
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times.
• Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
