Responsibilities

• The host/hostess Greets and seats guests at tables, answers general guest questions about the property and guest services and maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, hours of operations, and proper table set-up.
• Remains current with restaurant beer, cocktail, and food menus
• Keeps entry area and host stand clean and organized
• Keeps host area well stocked with necessary equipment, forms, and supplies
• Works in cooperation with other team members to provide a high quality of service
• Assists as required in table maintenance and cleans when necessary
• Observes and adheres to Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness of work environment
• Completes opening, closing, and other side duties as assigned
• Attends departmental and company meetings/trainings as required
• Maintains a clean workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
• Performs all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Department Standard Operating Procedures Manual
