Job summary

Hollywood Casino Aurora is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet and seat guests, answer questions about the property, and maintain knowledge of table numbers, hours, and seating availability.

You'll join a fast-paced team delivering high-quality guest experiences while upholding health, safety, and service standards across all dining and gaming areas. Starting at $15–$16 per hour with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school completion or equivalent required.
• One year of high-volume Host/Cashier experience required.
• Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol service certification.
• Must have excellent guest service/communication skill.

Responsibilities

• Remains current with restaurant beer, cocktail, and food menus.
• Keeps entry area and host stand clean and organized.
• Keeps host area well stocked with necessary equipment, forms, and supplies.
• Works in cooperation with other team members to provide a high quality of service.
• Assists as required in table maintenance and cleans when necessary.
• Observes and adheres to Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness of work environment.
• Completes opening, closing, and other side duties as assigned.
• Attends departmental and company meetings/trainings as required.
• Maintains a clean workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
• Performs all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Department Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
