TumbleweedTex Mex Grill & Margarita Bar is hiring a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for guests, coordinating seating, menus, and promotions with the dining team. You will help manage wait times and guest flow while upholding our standards of service and safety.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills, and are committed to a polished appearance and reliable transportation for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests.
• Escort guests to dining area and present menus.
• Seat guests in the bar or dining area per their preference.
• Inform guests of promotions and server details to ensure smooth handoff.
• Screen incoming calls to the restaurant.
• Manage guest flow into dining and bar areas.
• Provide accurate wait times.
• Attend to guests' needs and requests.
• Observe guest needs to ensure high quality service.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol policy.
• Assist in dining room by setting/clearing tables and serving beverages.
• Maintain uniform standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet incoming and departing guests

• Seat guests in either the bar or dining areadepending on their preference
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will beserving them to ensure a smooth handoff
• Screen incoming calls to the restaurant
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and barareas
• Provide accurate wait times to incoming guests
• Tend to guests’ needs and requests
• Observe needs throughout dining experience toensure guests receive high quality service
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
• Assist in the dining room by setting/clearingtables and serving beverages
• Maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
